Cost:
The cost for play, lunch and light food plus one soft drink after the round is ¥12,190 (including tax) – to be paid at check-out. Please also bring a price to the value of ¥1000-2000.
Please hand over ¥1,000 to Johan to cover the smaller prizes (golf balls etc.) at arrival.
Access:
By car: It is about 1 hour 30 minutes from Tokyo via Aqualine and 6 km from the Ichihara Tsurumai IC on the Ken-O highway. From Yokohama (stn) it should be slightly faster (all depending on the conditions of Aqualine), around 1h 10 minutes.

Last day to back out/cancel/join is the 16th of May (Thursday)
Competition:
We are competing for the Scandinavian Cup, donated by Carl Eklund in 2008 currently in the possession of Michael STANDAR, winner of the Fall Scandinavian Cup 2023.
- There are Near Pin prizes for all the par-3s.
- The Longest Drive (aka Dragon) Prize will be decided later….
- There will be other prizes such as Best Gross, “Biggest Wave”, Most Birdies etc
*Note: Please arrive at the club no later than 30 minutes before tee-off. A short briefing session will be held before tee-off.
General Information about the Scandinavian Cup
Participants:
Scandinavian Cup is open for all Nordic and Scandinavian nationals including spouses and children of other nationalities. We also accept some guest players upon request. Representatives from the Nordic countries are doing their best make sure the tradition continues, but please help us to find Scandinavian new-comers which you are most welcome to invite.
Fees:
We try to keep the playing fee below ¥15,000 yen which includes one round, lunch and party plan at the best possible venue. Drinks and other purchases come in addition. You need to pay the total amount when you leave the Club. We will also charge a small competition fee of ¥1000 per player that will cover additional prizes.
System:
We play the Stableford system and in order to give everybody a fair chance, please advise your present handicap (hcp), or your three latest scores and your Stableford points or show your official hcp-card.
Maximum handicap in the competition is 30 for men and 36 for ladies.
Both the men and women can play for the main Scandinavian Cup but ladies also have a second chance to win a separate Ladies Cup. The current trophy is the 5th which was donated by Calle Eklund in 2008.
We will also be playing for Best Gross , Near Pins, Long Drives and a few more Prizes as usual.
It’s a tradition for each player to bring a prize for the Prizetable, so please don’t forget this!
Rules:
- Please putt out, no “OKs” are allowed within one grip-length
- Max score is double par + 1 ( par 3’s = max 7; par 4’s = max 9; par 5’s = max 11). Please pick up the ball if or when you reach the maximum for each hole.
