Fujizakura Country Club

Fujizakura Country Club was the tournament course for a large part of the Scandinavian Cup’s history.

It is a forest course located in Yamanashi Prefecture near Mt.Fuji. The course is also home to a competition on the Japanese Pro Golf Tour, the Fujisankei Classic and is thus a very highly regarded course in the Japanese golfing community.

The course is Par 72, 6355 yards from White Tee and is fairly difficult with its rather long Par 4’s being the main challenge for us amateur golfers. There is a course guide and an overall view of the course on the official homepage (see link below).

Directions:
– Go on Chuo Expressway from Tokyo (roughly 93 km).
– Turn off at Kawaguchiko I.C.
– The course is approximately 6 km from the I.C.,
